In the most limited hangout-y of limited hangouts in all of access journalism, Politico on Monday paid the ferryman and printed a subtle piece of Trump Regime’s tactical retreat spin that the Orange God Emperor “still believes Democrats outplayed the GOP, which is partly why he is so angry with his party and why he tried so hard to prevent the House from voting, said a person close to the White House granted anonymity to discuss the Epstein case,” like we’re all fucking stupid and won’t get it.
This moment, as it played out ahead of what was inevitable then and very much indeed already happened – in fact this morning the Senate formally approved the bill and sent it to the White House for signature – was what amounts to a “sophisticated” play by the regime’s comms office, telling themselves “Heheheh, let’s give ’em the ‘inside scoop’ that Trump’s a mental child who doesn’t like to be told what to do as the ‘real reason’ for his repeated tantrums every time Epstein is mentioned.”
“Oh and we have to include an ‘insider quote’ like ‘The strategy now is give Republicans a perceived win so they can go back to their districts and say I voted to release the Epstein files.’ That’ll make the smug liberal gaytards who read Politico feel like they’re privy to all the stagecraft and kayfabe of DC,” this imaginary internal strategy session in Krazy Karoline’s office continued, finding a silver lining in the neutralization of what would’ve been a major vulnerability for members on the 2026 trail.
“POTUS doesn’t like to be told what to do or give Dems a win, so he’s been fighting it,” said an anonymous person quoted in the actual article that Politico printed, further underscoring the reliance on his very real personal inadequacies – specifically pettiness, egomania, and control freakery – to suffice as the load-bearing pylon for the truckload of shit that has steadily increased in weight and mass over the last nearly five months since scumbag Pam Bondi walked back her earlier claim that the Epstein list was sitting on her desk, waiting for her final review before making it public.
On a side note here she is on Wednesday doing plenty to engender confidence that she will block the disclosure of anything heretofore publicly unseen from the DOJ’s Epstein files:
But back to this Politico story’s origins in the White House this week. There’s a useful callback here of a time when Trump’s intellectual insecurities and unwillingness to admit fault were the actual reason for his public misbehavior: The 2019 Sharpiegate dumbassery, when the fat fuck drew that extra line onto the weather service’s chart for Hurricane Dorian to make it look like he wasn’t wrong when he’d earlier said Alabama was in the path of the storm. That was the story itself, the endpoint that caused all sorts of chaos among the underlings of a tyrant unwilling to admit a simple error.
Here, that same personal failing wreaking havoc on an already dysfunctional government under his leadership is being deployed as the “limited hangout,” the pretext to claim why he went kicking and screaming into this week’s vote and then did a 180 to make it look like it was his idea.
Of freaking course it’s believable that Trump is a miserable fucking asshole who overreacts to the slightest bruise to his self-image as the most perfect being in all of creation. But that admission, manifested in this line of Politico’s copy “The move allowed the administration to maintain Trump had never actually opposed the idea of releasing the files, so much as he was upset that Republicans played into Democrats’ hands,” just memory holes shit like the time he posted “Their new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my PAST supporters have bought into this ‘bullshit,’ hook, line, and sinker. They haven’t learned their lesson, and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years. I have had more success in 6 months than perhaps any President in our Country’s history, and all these people want to talk about, with strong prodding by the Fake News and the success starved Dems, is the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax. Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats work, don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore!” back in July.
The fat bastard has been trying to wiggle his way out of this since early June when his other ex-bestie Ketamine Brain announced straight up that “@realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public,” amid their nationally embarrassing feud.
None of this no doubt actually true enough shit about the Congressional vote being felt as insubordination from his supplicants on Capitol Hill should obfuscate the reality that Trump does not want the public to know that for more than a decade, maybe even two, that he was fully aware that his buddy Jeffrey Epstein was sex trafficking and abusing teenage girls. And that him merely having turned a blind eye to it is the generous conclusion, forget about actually partaking as now-former Prince Andrew and others did. There’s nothing about Donald that any reasonable person would want to give him the benefit of the doubt on whether he would’ve turned down a teenage girl living in Dirty Jeff’s harem and sorry if Ghislaine’s word to Todd Blanche doesn’t put that suspicion to rest.
On that note, of course there’s no mention of her current living situation, courtesy of the Trump Regime, in the Politico article, something that should maybe have factored into the current understanding of the situation as delivered to readers of the super-plugged in Beltway outlet.
They do at least include some resignation on the part of these disgraceful worms running the country. “Are people ever going to be satisfied? No, because people in this country genuinely believe that the federal government is in possession of a list of pedophiles who work with Jeffrey Epstein. And that is just not true,” said a source, “granted anonymity to discuss internal thinking.”
