Incel podcaster Tim Pool, who last weekend claimed that his house/media empire/skateboarding compound in Berkeley County, West Virginia had been shot up by a “vehicle” as “the price we pay for speaking out against evil,” has since refused to provide local law enforcement with security cam footage to actually, you know, help them investigate the alleged incident, TMZ reports.

A source in the county sheriff’s office tells the consistently reliable celebrity-focused outlet that reports “of shots fired at this residence cannot be substantiated at this time,” given Tim’s refusal. It’s not clear what, if anything, law enforcement has to work with otherwise. “We were advised not to release [the footage] as it will compromise security, exposing property, personnel, and our security measures,” Pool told TMZ. He then invited them to send a reporter to West Virginia to view the tape.

To recap: Pool reported the incident to cops but won’t show them the video that would corroborate that it actually happened because, in his words, he’s afraid someone in the local sheriff’s office is going to leak what his compound’s front gate looks like. But for some reason he trusts TMZ, who regularly publish photos of where Hollywood celebrities regularly dine, shop, and socialize – as well as what cars they drive – not to print his compound’s address so other potential drive-by shooters could see what the front gate looks like on Google Maps street view. It would seem that the podcaster – who famously blamed “feminist politics” for his inability to find a girlfriend – doesn’t actually want to see his leftist terrorist would-be murderers apprehended and brought to justice.
