Thus concludes that comprehensive summary of right wing media over the past few days, the hype machine turned up to an 11 over the actually years-long investigation into graft by non-profits charged with disbursing state and federal funds for food assistance and childcare programs in Minnesota. It was friggin last September that scary old hag Congresswoman Virginia Foxx subpoenaed then-Vice Presidential candidate and still-Governor Tim Walz to testify about “the multi-million-dollar fraud that has occurred under your tenure” and literally nothing has changed in terms of new revelations into his involvement. There were last month a few arrests of low-level peons in on the racket, but that’s all that really juiced the news for a MAGA propaganda-industrial complex that had been absolutely dying for a new narrative amid a very bad stretch.

Now there is definitely a legitimate scandal underneath, but it’s not particularly novel or even that large by the standards of other massive grifts in the world of waste, fraud, and abuse of funds disbursed to non-profits charged with providing assistance to the less fortunate. Look no further than Brett Farve’s daughter’s cow college’s $4 million volleyball gym, fat Mark Robinson’s wife’s meals on wheels scam, and Casey DeSantis’s $10 million Hope Florida Foundation racket.

Shit, if Trump wants to see a “retard” chief executive who oversaw the wholesale theft of public funds he could look in the mirror and see the guy who let people steal (a conservatively estimated) $420 billion in emergency COVID assistance in 2020. Lord knows he checks his shitty hair enough.

What is legitimately crazy about all this is the fact there is a Black Dem congresswoman who, if convicted of enriching herself by ripping off taxpayer funds and sentenced to the max, will be in a federal prison until she’s 99 years old and it is not friggin Ilhan Omar but Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick. She’s Haitian-American and was the principal of a conspiracy to rip off $5 million in FEMA funds meant to distribute COVID vaccines before she easily won a 2022 special election.

Cherfilus-McCormick could not have been created in a lab by political scientists if they wanted a more perfect villain for MAGAmerica in 2025 and yet here we are with, according to the TV News caption archive, Omar getting 140 mentions on Fox News to Cherfilus-McCormick’s two over the six weeks since the latter and her co-conspirators were hit with that massive federal indictment.

Maybe to the larger MAGAverse it’s analogous to the difference between QAnon and the Epstein files in that being thrilled and tantalized by the possibility of a Biblical reckoning for your foes is different than the reality-based justice system grinding slowly (Trump’s own complicity in Epstein’s crimes notwithstanding), even if one Black Dem congresswoman getting nailed for $5 million in theft should, by any and every measure imaginable, be just as vindicating as whatever it is they think they have on Omar – who again is not in any way actually connected to the Minnesota fraud. But on another level it makes sense in that this whole absolutely astroturfed new screamfest – in which 72 of 78 arrested are members of the state’s Somali community – is the go-to palette cleanser for an info bubble riven by the increasing MAGA-mainstreaming of antisemitism.

Or more like an escape valve, as if to say “Hey, I’m not a Christmas-tian like you Groyper bros but let’s set our differences aside and focus on what truly matters: Hating Black foreign Muslims who don’t even amount to 3 percent of Minnesota’s population. Together we can relive the good times of the immediate aftermath of October 7th when antisemitism was a leftist sin and not increasingly a conservative virtue. Remember Judeo-Christian values? Can we put the Judeo prefix back? Please?”

And it’s working. Look no further than the fact that Republican Minnesota state Senator Julia Coleman on Sunday tweeted that she’s “begging people to stop sharing this conspiracy theory” that Dem state House Speaker Melissa Hortman’s assassination had something to do with the fraud.

That’s when the fanboys should know they’re “over the target”: A “RINO” is pleading with them to ease up on their insane bullshit. Somalia-ghazi is the real deal and not some flash in the pan like the cover-up of the Titan submersible implosion data to distract from something something Hunter Biden. It’s got real sizzle – and a special ingredient that’ll linger on the tastebuds for a while…

Said Trump at various points on December 2nd and 3rd: “These Somalians have taken billions of dollars out of our country. Jews heeded the call by the thousands, at least two gave their lives for it: Andrew Goodman and Michael Schwerner, trapped and executed by the Klan on a rural road outside Philadelphia, Mississippi along with Black activist James Chaney in 1964.

That a Baptist minister was among the Klansmen convicted of the murders of Goodman, Schwerner, and Chaney sure isn’t a credit to the whole “Judeo-Christian values” line of shit so much as just another confirmation of the priors of the type of lib outraged by, say, Texas Gov Low Energy Greg Abbott’s plan to install the Ten Commandments in classrooms. Those lefties however should maybe reconsider whether couching their opposition solely in constitutional principle and maybe couple it with a more conciliatory acknowledgement of the reality of it: They’re largely a guide to healthy social living. Sure “Don’t worship Cthulhu or Xenu” can be cast aside as antiquated but can you say the same about “Don’t fuck your neighbor’s wife” and “Don’t shoplift”? Aren’t those actually pretty practical and universal “virtues” that still pack a punch in a 21st century secular world?

Maybe some of those Democrats were right when they called some people on the so called right Nazis.

It’s kind of undeniable at this point that we do have a Neo-Nazi problem on the right.
