A German crew pulled off a pretty kickass bank vault heist in the town of Gelsenkirchen over the weekend, drilling through a wall and making off with anywhere between 10 and 90 million euros worth of valuables stored in safe deposit boxes in the early morning hours, the AP reports.
The gaping hole in the wall of the vault wasn’t discovered until a fire alarm tripped at 4 AM Monday and firefighters responded. Witnesses told cops they saw men walking through an adjacent parking garage carrying large bags at various times over the weekend while cams also caught guys in masks using a stolen vehicle. Local media reports that the heist could be the largest in German history.
