January’s national Pew Research survey finds convicted felon President Trump’s approval rating at 37 percent, down 10 percent from 47 in February 2025 and falling by even slightly more among Republican respondents from 84 to 73 percent. Just 25 percent of respondents overall said Trump “acts ethically in office,” among GOP voters only 52 percent lied to themselves about that.
