Again, in case this caveat is necessary: Nobody with a soul lacks any moral clarity on the Nancy Guthrie situation, as brutalizing and abducting and old lady is especially cruel and depraved. Nor would they have any question about whether Gabby Petito’s fiancee Brian Laundrie was a fucking worm, even if there might be room for debate on whether his suicide subsequent to murdering her was the “right thing to do” – as well as the level to which Utah law enforcement failed her.

The failure itself is beyond question. That, coupled with Laundrie’s escape from being held accountable for his daughter’s murder also makes it perfectly reasonable for Joe Petito to want to continue sorting through his grief publicly now nearly five years later, without reproach.

All that out of the way… what the fuck? Why? You know when it was Laken Riley and other white women murdered by illegal immigrants at least the political agenda was clear as day, but seriously what the fuck? Not even the still-snow-clogged sidewalks and accumulating garbage outside their building in socialist Muslim supervillain Zohran Mamdani’s New York City to fill in some time would work for something “relatable” to ordinary viewers? Fox and Friends viewers wouldn’t be Fox and Friends viewers if they didn’t have a high tolerance for stupid bullshit and obsessive fixations but this Nancy Guthrie kick has to be getting close to breaching that unspoken covenant.
