Republican National Committee chairman Joe Gruters on Friday made an interesting choice on who’s to blame when confronted with convicted felon President Trump’s approval ratings in Trump’s predecessor Joe Biden, thereby kind of giving away the game. See, it would be one thing to blame Biden for the economic conditions that Americans don’t approve of. In fact Republicans have been doing that for about five years now and that’s the mode Gruters was in when he reflexively trotted out that old chestnut. Problem was that he accidentally laid bare the reality that exists irrespective of the fact that Trump campaigned on being the one who would fix all the economic problems and was completely lying about it, especially to the jackass low-info voters who bought that shit: The poll could literally be asking “Do you approve of the job President Trump is doing with fixing all the inflation that Joe Biden caused?” and the percentages would be more or less the same.
Gruters sucked much worse than Senator Dave McCormick, who just lied and moved on…
Fox and Friends host Brian Kilmeade on the other hand was going through the bargaining stage of grief this morning, pipe dreaming of how awesome it would be for Trump to actually defeat Iran…
…which, per Kilmeade, “would be momentum that nobody could foresee, for the midterms.”
