The Justice Department on Friday released numbers on how much the Jack Smith and Robert Hur investigations have spent from their respective appointments until March 31st and it’s pretty impressive how little they’ve cost taxpayers relative to other federal government projects.
Jack Smith’s team spent $5,428,579 from his appointment on November 18th, 2022 through March 31st, 2023, a huge return on investment for the American people as it netted 37 federal felony indictments of disgraced former President Trump’s theft of classified documents from the White House with more coming for him and his minions for their post-2020 election coup attempt. Win!
Biden documents fuckup special counsel Robert K Hur, who hasn’t even impaneled a grand jury, spent $615,962 between his appointment on January 12, 2023 through March 31st. Subtract paychecks ($346,139), office rent and utilities ($225,954), and office supplies ($300), and… well Hur didn’t spend a whole lot. True, Hur had less than a month and a half on the job when this expense report ended, but this does not bode well at all for the fanboys hoping for him to kick ass.
