Speaking to a gathering of his cult in South Dakota on Friday, disgraced former President Trump briefly invoked the infamous “sky screamer,” a liberal protestor standing near his 2017 inauguration whose loud, public anguish over Donald being sworn into the nation’s highest office caught on video became a cherished meme among his fans who so delighted in seeing a leftist in pain.

For obvious reasons, the meme lost its potency after Trump lost the 2020 election and similarly embarrassing scenes of utter emotional meltdowns from his fans ensued, like the women praying on their knees outside of the elections office in Clark County, Nevada and MAGAchurch pastor Kenneth Copeland’s demented laughter while talking about mail-in ballots during what was supposed to be a Christian sermon the Sunday after the media called the election for Biden. And then there’s that the “Sky Screamer” (aka “Luke Crywalker”) was photoshopped to wear a MAGA hat after the defeat.

It’s like going to a Hitler rally in March 1945 where he’s talking about how awesome it was when five years earlier he got the French to surrender in the same railcar where the German Imperial army leadership had signed the armistice ending World War I. Doesn’t quite carry the same punch that it might’ve while the Nazis were still occupying France unchallenged. Also note the “Rudy Giuliani legal defense fund” taking up a third of the screen toward the end. Not exactly subtle about his fear of the alcoholic shitbrain finally giving up on trying to get paid and flipping on him.
