In all seriousness you do not need to carefully parse Comer’s words here at all to conclude that this is over. He used the past tense “the inquiry was,” and admitted the Senate was just going to table the articles like they did “with Merrick Garland,” because this fucking moron forgot it was actually Homeland Security Secretary Alex Mayorkas that they impeached and isn’t going anywhere either.
