But there are some early data points here that already make it a messier story than that Russian-paid wiener Benny Johnson wants it to be. The MAGA rando’s reply is not at all atypical of the Evangelical take on the LDS church, that Mormons are not “real” Christians. Then there’s the location of the church: You can see here on Google Maps that right next door is a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Immediately next door and not like a quarter mile away from each other on a rural road, close enough to sprint from one to the other in 30 seconds. Doesn’t mean the asshole didn’t intend on attacking both before he was gunned down by cops or some armed patriot, but still worth noting.

Also it’s fucking horrific that such data points are even necessary to list here. The entire church burned to the ground with God knows how many people still inside. It doesn’t matter whether this was some deranged far right Evangelical who was declaring holy war on the Mormons or another Tyler Robinson who stole his MAGA dad’s truck to slaughter those who were gathering together – children and their families no doubt among them – to worship on a Sunday. It’s a crime against humanity no matter what the ideological motivation was – if there was any at all.

Nobody “wins” this sick game. Everyone loses. Does the left lose a little tiny bit less if the asshole was a white cisgender conservative than they would if it’s a “Trantifa libtard”? Sure. Equally sure is that it will be treated as unambiguously a “win” for the MAGA propaganda-industrial complex if the terrorist does turn out to be the least bit leftist-adjacent. They will enjoy it without qualm.

This appears to be yet another targeted attack on Christians in the United States of America,” the fat fuck posted on Truth Social just a few minutes ago.

The “there is still a lot to learn” and “This appears to be” are definitely at least somewhat out of character for him, which means he’s probably seen the pic of the truck already, maybe even been informed of who it was registered to after the FBI ran a check on the license plate.
