Republican Senate campaign chair Tim Scott didn’t have a lot of great ideas for how to handle NBC’s Kristen Welker repeatedly telling him that voters are pissed at the Trump Regime and the GOP Congressional majorities’ patent inability to actually make good on all their campaign promises. Still he kind of tried to blame Joe Biden’s four years while simultaneously claiming that his ruling party was also doing a great job delivering for the American people despite the Biden-caused headwinds.
This spinning around in circles led Welker to state the simple fact that the Biden Administration is over and that Trump has been back in office for nearly two years. Scott then continued rambling a shit ton of canned lines that were scarcely responsive to any of Welker’s questions. All in all a pretty solid stretch for the grinning idiot assuming the goal was to not make any major fuckups while also doing nothing to help sell viewers on maintaining the GOP majorities into next year.
The same can’t be said about an earlier exchange from the hit where Scott said “does not have the character to serve in the Senate,” to which Welker asked if Ken Paxton does…
…and no, Scott did not say Ken Paxton is a man of character, lol.
