A school bus driver in Pasco, Washington was stabbed to death Friday by a man boarded the bus as it was taking on students from a local elementary school, NBC News reports.
The driver, whose name has not been identified, had stopped to pick up students from Longfellow Elementary when an older man stepped aboard the bus and immediately stabbed the driver repeatedly. The driver lost control of the bus, which jumped a curb and hit some shrubery. No children were physically harmed in the incident.
The suspect exited the bus and waited for police to arrive. The name of the suspect has not been released.
