Pennsylvania Lt Governor and Dem Senate primary candidate John Fetterman announced Sunday that he suffered a stroke two days earlier but is recovering. “On Friday, I wasn’t feeling well, so I went to the hospital to get checked out. I didn’t want to go – I didn’t think I had to – but [wife Giselle Fetterman] insisted, and as usual, she was right. The good news is I’m feeling much better + I’m well on my way to a full recovery,” wrote Fetterman on Twitter. Obviously it’s really bad for any candidate to have a health emergency before a big election (just ask Donald Trump), but Fetterman’s lead over closest rival Congressman Conor Lamb is absolutely massive and unlikely to change going into Tuesday’s primary. His health could be a concern in the general election against either Kathy Barnette, David McCormick, or Mehmet Oz, however.
