The Cook Political Report have adjusted their forecast for the Maryland governor’s race after Trump-endorsed QAnon fan Dan Cocks won Tuesday nights primary, shifting it from Lean Dem to Solid Dem. If you’re not familiar with the seven notches on their rating scale, here they are: Solid Dem, Likely Dem, Lean Dem, Toss-Up, Lean Republican, Likely Republican, Solid Republican. We include this here to note that they skipped right over “Likely Dem” after Cocks’s win. So toxic is this bastard that term-limited current Republican Governor Larry Hogan on Wednesday straight up said he won’t be voting for Cocks, less than 12 hours after the primary was called.
