“Dutchess County District Attorney Anthony Parisi announces today that Christopher Moynihan, 35, plead guilty in the Town of Clinton Court to Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, in violation of Penal Law Section 240.30, subdivision (1), reduced from Making a Terrorist Threat, in violation of Penal Law Section 490.20, subdivision (1), a Class D Felony. This plea is related to a threat communicated to another person regarding United States House Minority Leader, Hakeem Jeffries. The incident occurred on October 17, 2025, in the Town of Clinton. The Defendant admitted that he communicated by telephone a threat to cause harm to another.”

“The case was investigated by the New York State Police and is being prosecuted by Senior Assistant District Attorney Pamela Bloomfield. Judge James Brands presided over the case. The Defendant’s sentencing date is set for April 2, 2026. The agreed upon sentence is 3 years of probation supervision,” says the Dutchess County, New York DA’s office in a press release.

Moynihan, who entered the Senate chamber during the January 6th, 2021 insurrection, was found guilty in August 2022 of obstructing an official proceeding, and pleaded guilty to five misdemeanor charges. He was sentenced in February 2023 to 21 months in prison. Thus, unless there was some extraordinary and extremely unlikely delay in him reporting for his sentence, it’s a near certainty he would not have still been in prison in October 2025 if not for Trump pardoning him in January.

With under a month to go until the March 3rd primary, a new University of Houston survey of Texas voters finds corrupt sociopath state Attorney General Ken “Picasso-face” Paxton leading incumbent “RINO” Senator John Cornhole Cornyn 50 to 41 percent in their now-all-but-certain May 26 runoff after the first round. In that, Pax also leads Cornhole 38 to 31 percent with MAGA Congressman Wesley Hunt in a pretty distant third at 17 percent and another 12 percent of GOP primary voters undecided. Pax’s lead against Hunt in a hypothetical runoff is even bigger at 56 to 33 percent.

On the Dem side Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett leads state Representative James Talarico 47 to 39 percent with 12 percent undecided. In the general election Pax leads Crockett 45 to 43 percent with another 4 percent for some Libertarian scrub and the rest undecided while Pax leads Talarico 46 to 44 percent. The survey also found convicted felon President Trump’s job approval rating at 49 percent to 50 percent disapprove in the Lone Star State. Maybe they shouldn’t have voted for him.

A 32 year-old man, described by Villages-News.com as a “squatter” who lives illegally in a trailer on private property just outside the massive corporate retirement community, was arrested by Sumter County Sheriff’s Deputies on suspicion of running a golf cart “chop shop” operation – as in stealing, dismantling, and parting out the vehicles. Power tools believed stolen from a work truck at the very same location a few months earlier were found at the trailer site.

Remember how every House Dem and a lot of media observers were saying Comer’s subpoena to the Clintons was extremely short-sighted and stupid because it created a precedent – one that Comer himself even admitted to – that Dems will use to squeeze Trump? Well amazingly this actually manages to top that ill-advised move because the kind of probe he wants to launch into Omar is supposed to go through the Ethics Committee who apparently, as of this writing, have not found anything approaching probable cause to investigate Omar/Mynett, nor are they in Oversight’s remit.

This has never been done before and thus here’s Comer apparently acting on orders from convicted felon President Trump who just keeps screaming about Omar evidently because his own Justice Department can’t make anything happen. Now Comer’s just handing Dems the permission structure to immediately subpoena his brother for records about their dairy farms and real estate scams, not to mention Jim Jordan’s wrestling team, Cory Mills’s imam… Shit, we could be here all day listing off all the different “avenues of inquiry” that Robert Garcia, Jamie Raskin, and the rest of the now-ranking members can use to torment their Republican colleagues if/when they get the gavels back.
