A new CBS News/YouGov survey of California voters finds 62 percent planning to vote yes on Proposition 50, the Golden State’s response to Texas erasing five Democratic congressional districts by wiping out about five Republican districts, to 38 percent of respondents opposed.
Governor Gavin Newsom scored a 53 percent approval rating to 47 percent disapprove, while convicted felon President Trump’s approval stands at 34 percent in the state.
“For all of those people voting in New Jersey and Virginia for Governor, Attorney General, or any other position, please remember this: A REPUBLICAN VOTE MEANS A DRASTIC DROP IN ENERGY PRICES AND ENERGY COSTS, A DROP LIKE YOU’VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE! — A DEMOCRAT VOTE MEANS A DOUBLING, AND EVEN TRIPLING, OF YOUR ENERGY BILLS AND PRICES, TRADITIONALLY THE HIGHEST COST OF AN AMERICAN CITIZEN! So, if you vote Republican, your Energy Costs are going to go down, tremendously! If you vote Democrat, your Energy Costs are going to go ‘through the roof,’ making Energy virtually unaffordable for you and your family to pay. Also, remember, that if you don’t go to the Polls and VOTE, it’s the same thing as voting for a Democrat. SO, GO TO THE POLLS AND CUT YOUR ENERGY COSTS IN HALF!” posted an energy bills expert on Wednesday.
The energy expert shared the secret just over a year after he said “I will cut your energy prices in half within 12 months… Cut them in half within 12 months of taking office. That’s going to bring everything down,” demonstrating his ability to deliver this pitch perfectly to audiences.
Not since 1814 had the White House been so badly ruined. Well there was these cheese incident at the end of Andrew Jackson’s presidency in 1837 but still this is definitely worse.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on Wednesday propagated a blatant falsehood in remarks about the league’s choice of Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny as the act for the Super Bowl LX halftime show in February. According to Deadline, in defending the league’s pick that caused MAGA weenies to freak out and petition to have some 70-something year-old country star with a racist fanbase replace him – while also planning their own “halftime show” starring Lara Trump, Kid Rock, and probably Nickelback or Limp Bizkit – Goodell said “I’m not sure we’ve ever selected an artist where we didn’t have some blowback or criticism. That’s hard to do when you have literally hundreds of millions of people that are watching. But I feel confident that it’s going to be a great show. He understands the platform that he’s on, and I think it’s going to be an exciting and uniting moment.”
The falsehood was that the NFL never “selected an artist where we didn’t have some “blowback or criticism” for the halftime show. That is a lie, because Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers were the halftime act during Super Bowl XLII. Everyone loves Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. There will never be a more perfect choice for a musical act to perform in the middle of America’s game.
Thus there was no controversy about the choice, two years into Goodell’s commissionership. Now 17 years later there is no real “blowback or criticism” either because the only people complaining about Bad Bunny are complete chodes who are free to watch Lara defile Tom Petty’s legacy and spirit.
“The Cattle Ranchers, who I love, don’t understand that the only reason they are doing so well, for the first time in decades, is because I put Tariffs on cattle coming into the United States, including a 50 percent Tariff on Brazil. If it weren’t for me, they would be doing just as they’ve done for the past 20 years – Terrible! It would be nice if they would understand that, but they also have to get their prices down, because the consumer is a very big factor in my thinking, also!” posted convicted felon President Trump on Wednesday, then adding “In addition to everything else, Tariffs on other Countries SAVED our Cattle Ranchers!” in a subsequent post, as if to convince himself he’s right.
Problem is that the pharmaceutical-brained fucking idiot forgot the only reason he put those tariffs on Brazil is because of the charges against his thinner and less bald mini-me Jair Bolsonaro for attempting to overturn his 2022 election loss which did jack shit to stop him from being convicted and sentenced to 27 years in prison where he’s going to rot until some right wing government comes into power and frees him. It was a political fuck you that had nothing to do with protectionism.
Considering that he can’t even understand why he punished Brazil – which is probably going to backfire by stirring up nationalism, keeping the left in power and Bolsonaro behind bars – it does not seem likely that domestic ranchers are going to understand, nice as that would be for Donald.
“Governor Gavin Newsom today announced that he will deploy the California National Guard under his command and California Volunteers on a humanitarian mission to support food banks as the federal government shutdown delays food benefits for millions of California families. In addition to the California National Guard, Governor Newsom is fast-tracking upwards of $80 million in state support ahead of funding delays triggered by the shutdown. The deployment mirrors the Governor’s action in March 2020, where the California National Guard supported food banks during the pandemic. At that time, California created an urgent force overseeing the deployment of the California National Guard, the California Service Corps, and tens of thousands of volunteers to support food bank operations during the pandemic, serving more than 800 million meals.”
“The California National Guard will not be acting as law enforcement. Service members regularly provide support to state civilian authorities, including for Governor-directed missions to support wildfire preparedness and response, tackle deadly drug trafficking, and surge medical capacity during the global COVID-19 pandemic,” says Gov Gavin Newsom’s office in a press release.
“Trump’s failure isn’t abstract – it’s literally taking food out of people’s mouths. This is serious, this is urgent – and requires immediate action. Millions of Americans rely on food benefits to feed their families, and while Republicans in Washington drag their feet, California is stepping up once again to fill in the gaps. I’m expediting state funds for food banks and directing the California National Guard and California Volunteers to help distribute this food to families. As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, California is working to ensure CalFresh recipients don’t go hungry while food prices are spiking under President Trump,” the release then quotes Newsom throwing the usual daggers.
Well ain’t that a pickle for the Orange God Emperor. Any attempts to federalize the state’s National Guard and order them into San Francisco to stand around and take selfies with tourists will come at the expense of their mission to distribute food to needy Californians. Well played.
Last summer the New York Times reported that convicted felon President Trump’s minions were working on a grand blitz against all of their enemies using one very tenuous thread. Basically it goes like this: President Barack Obama ordered the FBI and CIA to on Trump during the 2016 campaign, planted evidence that he colluded with Russia, and all the other “hoax” shit they’ve been whining about for years to obfuscate the fact that he’s a fat fucking traitor who committed real crimes.
However, according to the Times, “Trump appointees are reluctant to present evidence to a grand jury in the District of Columbia where key decisions in the Russia investigation were made nearly a decade ago. They believe it would be nearly impossible to find sympathetic jurors in a courthouse overseen by a federal judge, James E Boasberg, whom the Trump team regards as an enemy.”
The solution? Impanel the grand jury in South Florida because the 2022 Mar-a-Lago raid was somehow connected to the “Russia hoax” and make it a RICO case to overcome the statute of limitations, have a friendlier pool of MAGA jurors, and hope that it ends up in front of Aileen Cannon.
Oh and that the Sixth Amendment of the US Constitution doesn’t get in the way since the majority of the predicate offenses would have occurred in Washington years before the Mar-a-Lago raid.

A new survey of Virginia likely voters by StateNavigate finds Dem former Delegate Jay Jones leading incumbent Attorney General Jason Miyares 50 to 45 percent, and 52 to 38 among those who already voted, all this despite the MAGA freakout over some deranged texts that Jones sent wishing death upon the children of some pro-gun Republicans after the Uvalde massacre.
Republican former New Hampshire Senator John Sununu on Wednesday officially launched a comeback bid in the Granite State, seeking to take on likely Dem nominee Congressman Chris Pappas for the seat being vacated by retiring D Senator Jeanne Shaheen, who in 2008 defeated the then-incumbent Sununu, WMUR reports. John’s younger brother Chris, who served as governor until this year, famously passed on a bid against other Dem Senator Maggie Hassan in 2022.
Unlike Chris, John has yet to embrace the Orange God Emperor out of political expedience, though he faces a more authentically MAGA primary opponent in another former Senator, Scott Brown, who won a 2010 special in Massachusetts on a fluke after Ted Kennedy died, serving until his 2012 defeat to Liz Warren. Brown then moved to New Hampshire and lost to Shaheen in 2014.
“Sununu’s past opposition to Trump is well-documented, and he said he’s not focused on seeking the president’s endorsement,” WMUR writes and lol that’s not gonna fly if he wants to win.

Paul Ingrassia throws in the towel
“I will be withdrawing myself from Thursday’s HSGAC hearing to lead the Office of Special Counsel because unfortunately I do not have enough Republican votes at this time. I appreciate the overwhelming support that I have received throughout this process and will continue to serve President Trump and this administration to Make America Great Again!” posted Nazi sex pest Paul Ingrassia on Truth Social on Tuesday. Too bad Donna couldn’t help with this one.
Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes’s lawsuit against Jesus Dork Speaker Mike Johnson over his refusal to swear in Dem Congresswoman-Elect Adelita Grijalva, filed Tuesday in a DC federal court, puts forth a pretty freaking solid argument that Johnson’s “refusal to promptly seat Ms Grijalva, and to treat her as a member of the House, likewise injures the State of Arizona, which is denied the number of Representatives provided for by law.” Judges, especially federal ones, are big on the law.
Even better however is the very flexible relief part: “The State and Ms Grijalva therefore request that this Court enter a declaratory judgment that (1) Ms Grijalva shall be deemed a Member of the House of Representatives once she has taken the oath prescribed by law, see 5 USC § 3331, and (2) if Speaker Johnson has not administered the oath, the oath may be administered to Ms Grijalva by any person authorized by law to administer oaths.” The upshot being that if the judge rules that way Grijalva will have been sworn in before Johnson’s lawyers even file their notice of appeal.
A Minnesota Trump fan charged with three felonies for filling out her dead mom’s ballot for the fat bastard was sentenced to read a book and write an essay about the importance of proper voting, the AP reports on white people justice. Danielle Christine Miller, 51, of Nashwauk, pleaded guilty last week to forging the ballot for her mom, also allegedly a Trump fan, who died in August 2024.
Minnesota Ninth Judicial District Judge Heidi Chandler dismissed two of the charges and sentenced Miller to three years of supervised probation, an $885 fine, to read “Thank You for Voting: The Maddening, Enlightening, Inspiring Truth About Voting in America,” by Erin Geiger Smith, and to write a 10-page paper “regarding the importance in voting in a democracy and how election fraud can undermine the voting process.” Hopefully that means handwritten so no ChatGPT cheating at least.
In June, Patchogue, New York real estate agent Donna Gallo Ingrassia took a drive from her very MAGA town on Long Island’s South Shore down to Washington, DC. Her mission, per NOTUS, was to bang loudly on the doors to the offices of House Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Jamie Raskin and House Oversight Committee Robert Garcia and let be known her exception to a letter saying “Mr Ingrassia is unfit to serve as special counsel and his nomination is insulting to the American people” that the two Democrats had sent to the Senate Homeland Security Committee.
“You may have heard of my son, Paul,” Donna said to members of Raskin’s staff when they unlocked the door and answered, the realtor and likely Virginia Slims-smoking Billy Joel fan of course referring to her Nazi sex pest spawn. Donna, a hardcore Trump fan, demanded to know why the door was locked to which the staff told her that it was due to threats against the Maryland libera. “What kind of threats?” Donna then asked, as Trump fans are wont to do with their memory-holing.
Raskin wasn’t there. Congress was out of session so he was working out of his district office, leading her to Garcia’s office – the Californian was also back in his district – where she told staff that Garcia had said “disparaging things” about her son, and she’d wanted to make sure she “could give him a piece of my mind.” Staff said she made a “sarcastic comment” and left a business card there.
Reached by text message, Donna told NOTUS she “visited both and requested a meeting and they never called me. If dialogue is one sided and no one listens to one another, without communication, how in the world can anything be accomplished? People hate and they do mot even know why they hate. Pride, jealousy, wrath, greed, sloth, envy. Deadly sins. Thank you for considering my thoughts.”
Make Argentina Great Again
Convicted felon President Trump’s Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins on Tuesday didn’t seem too worried about hoof-and-mouth disease currently ravaging Argentinian cattle, American soybean AND cattle farmers pissed off about the regime’s willingness to help a foreign country, or having to explain it all to CNBC’s audience. She’s pretty chill with it all, unlike Wyoming Congresswoman Harriet Hageman, who reportedly is getting a lot of shit from her donors, ranchers in her state who told her that Trump’s plan to import Argentinian beef is “going to cost ranchers a lot of money.”
Neither of them held a candle to the dipshittery of the Trump voters who responded to this week’s Economist/YouGov survey which, for the first time that National Zero is aware of, split their sample and worded the same question slightly differently, A/B testing to hilarious effect. When asked “Do you approve or disapprove of the US government providing $20-40 billion in financial assistance to help stabilize Argentina’s economy?” 20 percent of respondents overall said the approve. When “US government” is replaced with “the Trump Administration” 21 percent of the other half approve.
Convicted felon President Trump has demanded the Justice Department, and thus the American taxpayers, hand him $230 million personally as recompense for the two federal criminal investigations into him for crimes that he actually committed, the New York Times reports.
“The situation has no parallel in American history, as Mr Trump, a presidential candidate, was pursued by federal law enforcement and eventually won the election, taking over the very government that must now review his claims. It is also the starkest example yet of potential ethical conflicts created by installing the president’s former lawyers atop the Justice Department,” the Times writes, trying their best to just call it what it is but still failing due to outmoded media mores.
So they outsource it to experts. “What a travesty. The ethical conflict is just so basic and fundamental, you don’t need a law professor to explain it,” said Bennett L Gershman, a legal ethics professor at Pace University School of Law, adding “And then to have people in the Justice Department decide whether his claim should be successful or not, and these are the people who serve him deciding whether he wins or loses. It’s bizarre and almost too outlandish to believe.”
