“An Earling, Iowa, man was sentenced on August 15, 2025, to four months in federal prison for wire fraud. According to public court documents, from September 2021 to October 2022, Mitch William Gross, 34, defrauded his employer, Ruan Transportation Corporation, by using business-related credit cards for personal purchases, including prepaid gift cards, Pokemon cards, and gaming items.”

“Gross submitted falsified receipts and mischaracterized fraudulent charges on his expense reports so that the purchases appeared as legitimate business expenses. His fraudulent purchases totaled over $140,000. After completing his term of imprisonment, Gross will be required to serve a three-year term of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system. Gross was also ordered to pay $146,590.15 in restitution. United States Attorney Richard D Westphal of the Southern District of Iowa made the announcement. This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Des Moines Police Department,” says a Justice Department press release.

What it doesn’t say is Gross’s political party. Neither does the result for him on VoteRef.com. It does however say that his boomer-aged parents, who he lives with, are registered Republicans.

This week’s Economist/YouGov survey‘s question of “Do you think that Israel is committing genocide against Palestinian civilians?” finds 43 percent of overall respondents saying yes, to 29 percent no and 28 percent not sure… Which is probably far closer to 71 percent yes. Among Trump 2024 voters it’s 18 percent yes and 27 percent not sure to 55 percent no. Seems that’s pretty low for MAGA.

Another 14 percent of the fat fuck’s voters said he’s “too supportive of Israel” and another 16 percent said “not sure,” so there’s another not great sign for the Netanyahu regime.

Elsewhere in the survey a too-early generic congressional ballot question finds Dems leading Republicans 41 to 33 percent, but what’s more interesting/tantalizing is, again, the Trump 2024 voters’ responses: There’s only a small crossover offset where 5 percent of Trump 2024 voters who say they plan to vote Dem vs 2 percent of Harris 2024 voters. However 14 percent of Trump voters said they don’t know, more than twice the 6 percent of Harris 2024 voters. Plenty will come home as always over the next 15 months, yet that the GOP’s in a hole already is worth noting.

When McCartney was arrested in 2023, prosecutors said he had been caught sexually abusing a 7 year-old girl. That was after he was arrested on one count of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile in 2006 and on two counts of aggravated rape of a 12 year-old in 2010. It’s not clear why he wasn’t castrated after the second one, or maybe it is because McCartney is white.
