It’s also really putting the complain in complaint, citing passages like one from an October 2024 article describing the shitty reality show’s producers’ first visit to the Trump Tower in 2003 – “Mr Trump’s own desk bore no evidence of work, no computer screens or piles of contracts and blueprints, just a blanket of news articles focused on one subject: himself” – as defamatory.
As though the Times would want to make that up and further degrade their educated readership’s mental health by reinforcing their perception of the president as a petty mental child.

Surprising no one, former Trump National Security Advisor John Bolton was indicted by a federal grand jury in Maryland on Thursday, the AP reports, citing sources as the indictment has not been made public yet. It was definitely about his absconding with classified documents, however.
Again, this is different from the situations with James Comey and Letitia James. Bolton really did fuck this up and leave himself vulnerable to real prosecution. That it is political is besides the point as he simply gave Trump’s regime the opening and they took it. An Illinois federal judge on Thursday ordered that all ICE agents conducting operations in Chicago be outfitted with bodycams while on-duty, the AP reports.
