When anything bad happened over the previous four years it was in Biden’s America. Protests at Columbia University? Not Kathy Hochul’s New York State or Eric Adam’s New York City, it was Biden’s America. Or Harris’s America for 107 days. Now they’re trying to make it into Gavin Newsom’s California and Karen Bass’s Los Angeles. No, the above is happening in Trump’s America.
Terry Moran fired from ABC News
“We are at the end of our agreement with Terry Moran and based on his recent post – which was a clear violation of ABC News policies – we have made the decision to not renew. At ABC News, we hold all of our reporters to the highest standards of objectivity, fairness and professionalism, and we remain committed to delivering straightforward, trusted journalism,” says an ABC spokesperson in a statement via CNN’s Brian Stelter on a pretty fucking abject act of submission to the Trump regime.
On Saturday Moran tweeted and deleted this factual statement about Reichsminister of racial purity Stephen Miller and his fat orange boss’s crusade against immigrants: “The thing about Stephen Miller is not that he is the brains behind Trumpism. Yes, he is one of the people who conceptualizes the impulses of the Trumpist movement and translates them into policy. But that’s not what’s interesting about Miller. It’s not brains. It’s bile. Miller is a man who is richly endowed with the capacity for hatred. He’s a world-class hater. You can see this just by looking at him because you can see that his hatreds are his spiritual nourishment. He eats his hate. Trump is a world-class hater, but his hatred only a means to an end, his own glorification. That’s his spiritual nourishment.”
Instead of taking that as a compliment, Krazy Karoline demanded that ABC News suspend or fire Moran. They did both and again bent the knee to the Orange God Emperor’s unholy regime.
Convicted felon President Trump and brainwormed HHS Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr’s regime’s budget for federal public health expenditures in 2026 proposes cutting the 988 suicide prevention hotline’s specialized support for LGBTQ youth, NBC News reports that the cruelty is still the point.
The 988 hotline will remain intact both via text and voice calls – kind of amazing in its own right all things considered – but the option that connects LGBTQ youth with “specially trained staff and partner organizations” will be axed. Guess which president signed the 988 legislation into law that specifically included that specialized service. It wasn’t Joe Biden or Barack Obama.
And yet HHS spokesworm Rachel Cauley defended the axing to NBC, saying that the whole 988 service will be funded at the same levels as previous years, but “does not, however, grant taxpayer money to a chat service where children are encouraged to embrace radical gender ideology by ‘counselors’ without consent or knowledge of their parents.” Hard to imagine how damaged someone can be to say that kind of shit about an effort to prevent teenagers from killing themselves.
Asked if it’s hypocritical for Republicans to be condemning the riots in Los Angeles while being okay with convicted felon President Trump pardoning thousands of Capitol rioters, House Speaker Mike Johnson said there’s a “clear distinction” between the two groups of marauders. He did not say the clear distinction. Johnson’s counterpart in the Senate, John Thune, was better at batting away the question, saying simply “I think the issue that’s in front of us right now is the chaos in LA…”
From the final report on the NTSB inquiry into the August 2024 death of retired champion dirtbike/dirtroad car racer Scott Bloomquist, whose Piper J3 plowed into a barn: “The pilot departed from a private airstrip and overflew his property. The airplane subsequently impacted a barn adjacent to the airstrip. The airplane sustained substantial damage, and the fuselage was mostly consumed by the postimpact fire that ensued. The pilot was fatally injured. An autopsy of the pilot was performed by the William L Jenkins Forensic Center, Johnson City, Tennessee. The autopsy report listed the cause of death as blunt force injuries and the manner of death as suicide.”
Underscoring that summary, the report’s conclusion says the NTSB “determines the probable cause(s) of this accident to be: The pilot’s intentional flight into a building as an act of suicide.”
So it was a mini-9/11-ing. The barn did really burn from the crash. It wasn’t a controlled demolition.
Sources on House Oversight Chairhick James Comer’s staff tell Axios that former Biden White House aides including Domestic Policy Council director Neera Tanden, Jill Biden advisor Anthony Bernal, former special assistant to the president Ashley Williams, and former White House deputy chief of staff Annie Tomasini have all agreed to sit for hours of stupid questions about Joe’s mental state.
Let’s go in a straight line here: On Tuesday convicted felon President Trump was asked by a reporter when the last time he spoke to California Governor Gavin Newsom. “A day ago. Called him up to tell him, got to do a better job, he’s doing a bad job. Causing a lot of death and potential death,” said Trump, to which Newsom tweeted “There was no call. Not even a voicemail. Americans should be alarmed that a President deploying Marines onto our streets doesn’t even know who he’s talking to.”
Then Fox News anchor John “I’m not the Chief Justice” Roberts stepped in for an assist.

“‘President Trump just contacted me from Air Force 1 to say this: ‘First call was not picked up, second call, Gavin picked up, we spoke for 16 minutes. I told him to, essentially, ‘get his ass in gear,’ and stop the Riots, which were out of control. More than anything else, this shows what a liar he is, said I never called. Here is the evidence,'” tweeted Roberts, along with a screenshot of the call log.
Look at the date on your watch or phone or computer and then look at the date on the call log. “A day ago” was Monday, June 9th. Meaning the 7th was on Saturday, but 10:23 PM on Friday the 6th West Coast time. There were some disturbances in Los Angeles on Friday but shit didn’t really get going until the following evening, meaning it’s quite possible the call wasn’t even about ICE raids or rioting. It’s bad enough that Trump thinks 1:23 AM was a “day ago,” it’s even somehow worse that this fucking idiot Roberts just posted this thinking it’s a “defense” of the fat bastard.
Convicted felon President Trump’s team are considering Treasury Suckretary Scott Bessent as the successor to Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell when the time comes to pick a replacement next May, Bloomberg reports on some mildly kind of maybe semi-not-that-bad-almost-neutral-ish news.
With what counts as optimism these days one could maybe sort of say “Well at least it’s not Maria Bartiromo.” It’s perfectly possible if not probable that Bessent would take the job seriously and stop cosplaying once he got in. Trump wouldn’t be able to fire him and he would outlast the fat bastard’s term. Someone else can make the case for why he’s a terrible pick. This is just the “It could be a lot fucking worse, like Bill Ackman” case. It’s not a “good” one for Señor Suckretary.
A March incident in the city of Xinyang in which five local Chinese Communist Party officials taking a lunch break from a seminar on how to cut back on spending at party functions then proceeded to plow through four bottles of baijiu, the country’s signature sorghum-based liquor which ranges from 35 to 60 percent ABV – sending one of the officials to cold storage and the rest of them into an ultimately unsuccessful coverup mode over his death – is now part of an updated version of the very guidance the stupid assholes were supposed to be implementing, the Wall Street Journal reports.
Exactly how the guy died is not clear, though it does not appear that his communist drinking party-mates were implicated in any act of violence during the blurry lunch on a day when they were supposed to be doing homework, that per the Journal, included “four anthologies of Xi’s remarks on discipline and over a dozen sets of party regulations and directives, including rules against convening official meetings at scenic tourist spots and using public funds to buy fireworks for the Lunar New Year,” lol. The four hungover survivors and other officials connected to the incident were definitely punished however, as at least a dozen were hit with censure, probation, demotion, removal from positions, or full expulsion. The buzzkill did not stop in Xinyang as it spurred a national crackdown on all officials, even the ones who can hold their liquor and not die at a party party.
There was no call. Not even a voicemail.

A hiker on his way to the site of a World War II-era plane crash at a densely forested region of northern Greece encountered an angry brown bear and was promptly shoved off the edge of a steep cliff and to his death in a 2,600-ft deep ravine on Tuesday, CBS News reports on the latest in a string of fatal incidents involving ursine encounters in central Europe over the last few years.
Christos Stavrianidis and friend Dimitris Kioroglou were trying to map out a new, more accessible route to the wreck of the military plane that was rediscovered just last year, hoping to make it easier for others to visit when they came into contact with the honey-crazed apex predator. “I suddenly saw a bear which attacked me,” Kioroglou told outlet NewsIT. “My dog delayed it a few seconds. I used pepper spray, and it headed to where my friend was and knocked him into the ravine.”
Panos Stefanou, spokesman for Greek wildlife group Arcturos, told state media outlet ERT TV that the bear was likely protecting itself from the men and dog, calling the shove “defensive behavior, not an attack. The bear is trying to push back what it sees as a threat,” pun maybe sort of intended.
Stavrianidis is the third soul on Team Bear’s kill count in Europe since 2024 but interestingly the second in a row to have met his end with an assist from gravity rather than mauling. A man was found dead of wounds consistent with a bear attack in Slovakia in April of last year, just weeks after a Belorussian woman visiting the same country plunged to her death down a ravine while being chased by one. The bear was then chased off by a warning shot fired by an avalanche rescue crew as it neared her body. Both bear-gravity incidents mark a reversal of one that ended Virginia human hunter Lester Harvey Jr, who was killed last year when either he or one of his companions shot a bear who had climbed up at tree to escape them and then crushed Harvey after it fell.
California Gov Gavin Newsom’s lawsuit against convicted felon President Trump’s takeover of the Golden State’s National Guard has drawn US District Judge Charles Breyer, a Clinton appointee and younger brother of retired Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, Politico’s Kyle Cheney reports.
Mike Johnson then and now
“We’ve got to turn the rhetoric down. We’ve got to turn the temperature down in this country… We’re all Americans, and we have to treat one another with dignity and respect… We can have vigorous debate, but it needs to end there” – House Speaker Mike Johnson, July 15, 2024.
“I’m not gonna give you legal analysis on whether Gavin Newsom should be arrested. But he ought to be tar and feathered, I’l say that” – House Speaker Mike Johnson, June 10, 2025.
A flash YouGov survey of 4,309 US adults with the sole question of “Do you approve or disapprove of deploying Marines to the Los Angeles area to respond to protests over the federal government’s immigration enforcement?” finds just 34 percent approving to 47 percent disapproving, with 19 percent unsure, much of that approval propped up by 68 percent support among Republican respondents to 13 percent GOP disapproval, plus 19 percent unsure what to think. Among independents and Dems support was at 27 and 12 percent, respectively, to 50 and 75 percent disapproving, respectively. “Not Sure” scored 13 percent among Dems and 24 percent with indies.
Also on Tuesday YouGov dropped their weekly survey for the Economist and, true to form, they found some wacky shit from Trump 2024 voters. On “Do you think that Donald Trump was involved in crimes allegedly committed by Jeffrey Epstein?” just 71 percent of MAGAmericans said no while fully a tenth said yes, they do believe the president they voted for was a client of the dead pimp’s sex trafficking ring, and the rest – 19 percent – said they didn’t know. Overall a plurality at 42 percent said yes while 32 percent said no and 26 percent were unsure. Among Kamala Harris 2024 voters 80 percent said yes, 4 percent no, and 16 percent didn’t know, which makes enough sense given the lib inclination toward skepticism, people not fully reading the 55th out of 55 survey questions, etc.
“Only six months ago, a ‘soft landing’ appeared to be in sight: the global economy was stabilizing after an extraordinary string of calamities both natural and man-made over the past few years. That moment has passed. The world economy today is once more running into turbulence. Without a swift course correction, the harm to living standards could be deep. International discord – about trade, in particular – has upended many of the policy certainties that helped shrink extreme poverty and expand prosperity after the end of World War II. This year alone, our forecasts indicate the upheaval will slice nearly half a percentage point off the global GDP growth rate that had been expected at the start of the year, cutting it to 2.3 percent. That’s the weakest performance in 17 years, outside of outright global recessions. By 2027, global GDP growth is expected to average just 2.5 percent in the 2020s – the slowest pace of any decade since the 1960s,” says the foreword to the World Bank’s twice-yearly growth forecast, not naming names or anything, buuuuuuut…
Still not naming names but getting closer, the actual report forecasts US GDP growth at 1.4 percent in 2025, downgraded from January’s forecast of 2.3 percent and half of 2024’s 2.8 percent growth.
Brad Bondi calls defeat a “tragedy”
“Today, the results of the 2025 DC Bar President-Elect [sic] election were announced and although I did not prevail, I stand with a heart full of gratitude and a mind heavy with concern for the future of the DC Bar. I had hoped this race would be a contest of ideas to enhance services for our widely varied members – a chance to discuss free, on-demand CLEs, instant certificates of good standing, a stronger ethics hotline, and expanded pro bono programs that would unite us in service, from big law to solo practice. Instead, I am disgusted by how rabid partisans lurched this election into the political gutter, turning a professional campaign into baseless attacks, identity politics, and partisan recrimination. Never before has a DC Bar election been leveraged along partisan lines in this way, an explicit call for members to vote based not on what’s best for the institution but their political affiliations. Their tactics, which included smearing me over my family and peddling conspiracies about my intentions, were not just an assault on my integrity but on the DC Bar’s very mission.”
“But by giving in to these partisan impulses, we risk a never-ending cycle of political strong-arming, where every election becomes a proxy for national divides, and the Bar’s unity is fractured beyond repair. I caution that the Bar may never recover from this politicization – a tragedy that would erode its ability to serve as a home for all members, replacing impartiality with ideological litmus tests that alienate and divide. We’ve seen other institutions fall to this temptation, losing their credibility and purpose. The Bar must not follow that path,” wrote scumbag Attorney General Pam Bondi’s brother Brad in a LinkedIn post on Monday after his crushing 91 to 9 percent defeat in the DC Bar election.
The Biden Administration’s Departments of Justice and Homeland Security kept tabs on foreigners coming and going from drug addicted billionaire Elon Musk’s properties in 2022 and 2023, the Wall Street Journal reports on what has to be an intentional leak from someone on Team Ketamine to try to polish his image among the MAGA base by making him a victim of “spying.”
Maybe should’ve added a “(?)” to the headline because what this gaupropagandaleiter is saying isn’t entirely clear. Or maybe it is clear but it’s so baffling that she’d actually say this shit and admit, even obliquely, that Republicans are treading a dangerous path. The Trump Regime themselves don’t seem to think so, and neither does Politico Playbook in their Tuesday morning jerkoff piece.
“We couldn’t script this any better. Democrats are again on the ’20’ side of an 80-20 issue… It’s the same thing that won Trump the election,” Politico quotes one “gleeful person close to the White House” as saying. They then write “In the eyes of the White House, Trump already had a clear mandate from voters for the mass deportation effort that was driving those ICE raids in LA. And aides believe the chaotic scenes that followed – masked protesters pelting police with rocks, setting fire to cars and waving Mexican flags on abandoned freeways – will only bolster public support for Trump’s hard-line approach. Indeed, every time a Dem speaks out against the president’s actions in LA, the White House is happier still. And guess who’s the ultimate foil? Enter California Gov Gavin Newsom…” Alright, enough Politico Playbook mushroom slobbering for one morning.
Then there was Axios on Monday with “Scoop: Cotton urges GOP senators to double down on fiery LA protests” complete with the “Why it matters: Republicans are convinced they have a winning issue” and the bullet points of “Americans have a choice between Republicans’ law and order vs the Democrats’ car-burning, illegal alien rioters,” that Tom Cotton’s staff wrote to other GOP Senators.
Yet here’s Frau Ingraham apprehensive over the situation’s potential to backfire on MAGA.
