Chief Justice John Roberts fell June 21st and sustained an injury to his forehead that required sutures and an overnight hospital stay, reports the Washington Post.
The 65-year-old Roberts was at the Chevy Chase Country Club when he fell. Apparently, the fall was not caused by slipping on or falling over an object. Doctors ascribed the cause to dehydration.
He was transported to a undisclosed hospital where he was treated for the injury and held overnight for observation before being released the next day.
Roberts has experienced two seizure that are public knowledge: one in 1993 and another in 2007.
