Valentina Sampaio will be the first transgender model in Sports Illustrated’s iconic swimsuit edition.

The 23-year-old Brazilian model was also featured by Victoria’s Secret in it’s August 2019 catalog shoot. She has also been featured in ad campaigns for cosmetic company L’Oreal, becoming one of the brand’s official ambassadors.

Sampaio’s portfolio includes covers for Vogue Paris, Vogue Brasil and Vogue Germany, as well as Vanity Fair Italia, Elle Mexico, and L’Officiel Turkiye.
