Florida reports over 15k new Coronavirus cases, nearly 4k higher than New York's worst day

The tracker on the Florida state health department’s Coronavirus response page shows a total of 15,299 cases reported since Saturday, the third five-digit day in a row.

It’s the highest single day total for any state since the crisis began, eclipsing New York’s highest single day total of 11,571 in April, per Axios.
