The Florida Department of Health reported another 9,785 new positive cases of COVID-19 and 139 deaths from the virus in the state on Tuesday, bringing the total numbers to 379,619 infections and 5,345 deaths, respectively.
In Texas, per The New York Times, there were 9,922 new cases reported Tuesday, and 159 deaths, adding to the total of 356,391 and 4,342, respectively.
California, also per The New York Times, saw 10,171 new cases and 119 deaths on Tuesday, totals are 411,796 cases and 7,893 deaths.
New York, by contrast, recorded 815 new cases and 15 deaths Tuesday – adding to 413,595 cases and 32,228 total deaths since the outbreak began.
