Trump campaign ad shows violence against police...in Ukraine

A Trump campaign ad touting the claimed lawlessness of American cities, which prominently featured the scene of protesters beating a police officer, took the image from a 2014 incident in Ukraine, businessinsider reports.

The ad, posted on Facebook Tuesday, juxtaposes images of Trump standing with law enforcement officials next to a photo of protestors standing over an armed police officer lying on the ground.

In the photo of the protest, it is not clear if the crowd is harming the fallen officer or the circumstances of the situation, but the emblem of a Ukrainian police force is clear on his shoulder patch.
