The White House staff were notified via email on Monday that the Administration will begin conducting random mandatory coronavirus testing of White House personnel due to multiple individuals who have tested positive for the virus, the Washington Post reports.
Previously, the White House had voluntary random testing, with mandatory testing for anyone coming in direct contact with either President Trump or Vice President Pence.
White House National Security Advisor Robert C. O’Brien tested positive for the coronavirus last week, becoming the highest level administration official to have the virus.
