US coronavirus fatalities surpass 160k per Hopkins count

On Thursday, the number of coronavirus fatalities in the US crossed 160,000 on the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus tracker, while the daily fatality count in the US topped 1,200 according to worldometers.info.

California led the daily case count with 8,500 new cases, while both Florida and Texas both surpassed 7,600. Texas led the nation with more than 200 coronavirus fatalities Thursday.

Worldwide, India led the world with more than 60,000 new reported cases, with Brazil and the US topping 1,200 fatalities today.
