Hilda Solis, Secretary of Labor under President Obama, highlighted the Biden-Harris plan for improving job growth and improving the American economy.
Secretary Solis said American workers need an advocate for working class Americans. Biden, she said, will support home care workers to organize, and saved automobile workers jobs. She noted that during the Great Recession, when many Californians were at risk for losing their homes Harris, then the state’s attorney general, worked to gain some financial relief for homeowners.
“Because of Donald Trump’s failures, we must once again save a sinking economy,” Solis noted.
Solis echoed the Biden economic slogan: Build Back Better.
“By creating 5 million good union jobs by returning the supply chain to America: that’s building back better. Creating millions of jobs by investing in clean energy. That’s building back better,” she said. “And making sure working families can afford child care. That’s how we’ll build back better.”
“No one is going to be a stronger voice [for the working class] than Joe Biden,” Solis finished up with.
“Joe Biden has an understanding of what an average American are feeling,” one business owner said in a montage of business owners struggling under the Trump economic plan which has benefited major investors.
