North Carolina republican nominee to Congress Madison Cawthorn told his origin story of his car accident which left him in a wheelchair, where he said, he felt invisible in a crowd.
He promised to work for all other such people. A 25-year-old, Cawthorn pointed out that George Washington was 21 when he received his first military commission, the same age (shockingly, I know) of many military academy graduates.
Cawthorn claimed that Democrats want to bring in “the digital Dark Ages, a time of information without wisdom and tribalism without truth.” {Fact check: He’s supporting Trump, a man who has lied more than 26,000 times since he’s been in office.]
National leaders on the left, Cawthorn says (apparently unaware that the RNC convention has been filled with vacant stories of Americanism, abortions, fear and violence) want to “normalize emotion based voting.”
