Representative Dan Crenshaw (R-Tx) described the United States of a “nation of heroes” in which heroism is “self-sacrifice, not moralizing and lectring over others when they disagree,” Crenshaw said in a lecture on heroism. Crenshaw said “heroism is grace, not perpetual outrage,” but didn’t address the consistent stream of whines evident in GOP and Trump Twitter streams.
In fact, Crenshaw didn’t mention Trump’s name once.
It should be noted that Crenshaw’s speech did not encourage people to protect others by wearing a mask in the face of the pandemic.
