During his tour of the destroyed community of Lake Charles, Louisiana as he surveyed damage from Hurricane Laura, President Trump stopped at a fire station where he signed some cards and gave them to first responders saying, “Sell it tonight on eBay. You’ll get $10,000.”

Trump has a history of making boner move while touring disaster sites. After Hurricane Maria, he tossed paper towels to a group of survivors; he also claimed that his administration did a great job, even though more than 3,000 people died. In 2018, while touring damage from Hurricane Florence in North Carolina, he told a homeowner who had a boat that had settled in his front yard after massive flooding, “At least you got a boat out of it.”
On eBay, a generic Trump autograph goes for less than $500.00.
