Hours after White House aide and Trump’s personal pants steamer Hope Hicks tested positive for the coronavirus, President Trump tweeted out that he and Third Lady Melania Trump will begin quarantine.
Hope Hicks, who has been working so hard without even taking a small break, has just tested positive for Covid 19. Terrible! The First Lady and I are waiting for our test results. In the meantime, we will begin our quarantine process!

Hicks was seen with various members of the White House staff, including Stephen Miller and Jared Kushner, on Tuesday as well as with entire Trump family prior to Tuesday’s presidential debate, during which Trump mocked Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden for wearing a facemask.
Hicks flew on Air Force One to Cleveland for the debate Tuesday, and reportedly tested positive Wednesday. Members of the Trump family and other republicans refused to wear masks during the debate.
It is unclear what a quarantine looks like for Trump, given that he’s dependent on White House residential staff for virtually everything. It is also unclear how this impacts Trump’s planned rallies in Wisconsin this weekend.
