Bill Stepien, Donald Trump’s campaign manager, has tested positive for COVID, Politico reports. He is at least the seventh person associated with Trump to test positive for the virus in the last two days.
Stepien was experience mild flu-like symptoms. He will work remotely while deputy campaign manager Justin Clark will oversee operations at the campaign’s Arlington, Virginia headquarters.
This has not been a good week for people who held the title of campaign manager for Donald Trump. At the beginning of the week, former campaign manager Brad Parscale was arrested after he drunkenly threatened suicide and it was disclosed that he was the subject of a federal investigation. Kellyanne Conway, the 2016 campaign manager, was also diagnosed with coronavirus, like Stepien.
