The US and Russia will hold another round of nuclear arms talks on Monday in Helsinki, Finland, following up on talks held during the summer in Austria, the Associated Press reports.
The Trump Administration has voided a number nuclear weapons agreements between the two counties that were signed by Trump’s predecessors.
“The round of discussions on strategic stability and nuclear weapons between the United States and Russia, which began in Vienna in the summer, will continue in Helsinki on Monday,” a statement from the office of the Finnish President Sauli Niinisto said.
Monday will be an important day for the Trump Administration. Donald Trump’s doctors claim that he may be released from the hospital, where’s he’s being treated for a COVID infection, and middle son Eric Trump will be deposed in the Trump Organization financial scandal by the Manhattan district attorney.
With both Russia and the United States suffering from massive forest fires in the past year, it was unclear if Finland would be hosting an instructional seminar on how to properly rake forest floors to avoid wildfires, as Trump has suggested.
