One of the witnesses the Trump campaign legal team presented during the Michigan Senate Oversight Committee was so outlandish, even Rudy Giuliani tried to control her outlandish behavior.
During questioning by Republican State Senator Steven Johnson, the witness, reportedly a poll watcher named Melissa Carone, claimed that the poll books did not contain listing for a single registered voter; that they were off by more than 100,000; and that dead people and “illegals” voted. She insinuated, while arching her eyebrows, “what’d you guys do? Take it [the poll book] and do somethin’ crazy to it.”
The woman, who is being compared to former Saturday Night Live cast member and conservative gadfly Victoria Jackson on social media–with some making commenting that she’s an improv comedienne, continues to make unsubstantiated claims, stressing that she “signed something saying that if she’s wrong, I could go to prison,” she said making a smug face. “Did you?” she asks the senator.
The Detroit News reports that Carone was a temp worker hired by Dominion Voting Systems to work at TCF Center in Detroit. According to the Detroit News, she claims she saw thousands of votes processed over 27 hours of working at the location, but not one single vote for Donald Trump.
