For the second time today, a federal judge dismissed an election lawsuit in Georgia led by erstwhile member of the Elite Special Force Team of lawyers assembled by lame duck president Donald Trump. Brad Heath of Reuters tweeted, “For the record, that’s two Krakens slain in a single day, in utterly predictable fashion.” In this case, attorney Sidney Powell stated that her team has evidence from “military intelligence” relating to election fraud, but followed that up with a debunked video of claimed fraudulent ballots being mysteriously brought out from under tables.
As the judge dismissed the lawsuit, Heath tweeted, “The judge rules Kraken plaintiffs don’t have standing and their claims can’t be adjudicated in federal court. They also waited too long to sue – ‘this suit could have been filed months ago.'” Heath noted that lawyers could be heard laughing on the court’s livestream at the end of the hearing.
