Two million people have died of coronavirus

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID tracker, the 2 millionth person has succumbed to the coronavirus.

As of it’s 12:22 p.m. ET update on Friday, the JHU site recorded 2,000,905 deaths worldwide from the coronavirus. Nearly 20% of those fatalities have been in the United States.
