More Americans optimistic about US future than any time since 2009

According to RealClearPolitics, more Americans think the United States is going in the “right direction” now than any time since 2009. The current RCP average notes that 43.8% of Americans feel the US is going in the right direction, with 49.8% saying the nation’s heading in the wrong direction. The “right direction” number is the highest it’s been since January 14, 2009, when it registered at 45.8%.
