The President and First Lady traveled to Plains, Georgia for a private meeting with former president Jimmy Carter and his wife, Rosalynn, Thursday, raising speculation about the health of the President Carter.
Karen Travers of ABC News tweeted photos of President and Dr. Biden at the Carters’ home, with Rosalynn seen in the doorway of the home as the Bidens left. President Carter was not seen.
At 96-years-old, Jimmy Carter is the longest-living former president in American history, the first to live past his 95th birthday. He’s had multiple battles with cancer, including brain cancer. Walter Mondale, who served as Carter’s vice president, passed away on April 19th at the age of 93.
