“Dozens of prisoners have to share the same fingernail/ toenail cutter, without it being disinfected between each use… Under the restrictive housing conditions, exercise is limited, whereas others in the jail have more ability to exercise… Access to personal hygiene such as showers is nearly nonexistent, according to our client, and defense lawyers and relatives I’ve spoken with. Those housed in general population are able to take a shower whenever they want. The same can be said for those seeking a haircut – every person we have spoken to has stated that they have been denied a haircut since their imprisonment commenced at the DC Jail”
