“At church today Pastor Doug Page talked about the call to bless Israel, and I’ll admit I have struggled with that. Some of our toughest battles today, including LGBTQ, gambling, media, news, movies, etc, are against corporations run by Jews. It’s not a blanket statement bashing an entire people group, but I have to ask myself, ‘What does it mean to ‘bless Israel’ when I’m opposed to so much of what I see her people push. Doug talked about a remnant being saved after we are raptured, but that still didn’t answer the question for me. Lots and lots of believers fall all over themselves to support everything the Nation Israel wants, says, or does, but I don’t give blanket approval (or condemnation) to anybody or anything. Has anyone else struggled with this? This article from Ligonier Ministries helped me a lot. What are your thoughts? I’m sure I’ll be called anti-semetic [sic] for even asking, but if God is commanding something that doesn’t make sense to me, it’s important to talk about. What does it mean to bless Israel?”- July 11th Facebook post by Julie White McCarty, CEO of the True Texas Project, and host of a Dallas town hall with Senator Ted Cruz, scheduled for Wednesday August 18th.
McCarty also posted “I have W u han Chi knees [sic] Commie virus brought over by dirty illegalsvthat Abbott allows to pour over our borders by the 1000s. Got it while in the RGV Sector. It is taking me much longer to recuperate than anticipated. In the meantime, just do whatever Fran Waters Rhodes says. This is no time to slack off” on July 29th.
