Voting is still underway but as of this writing the measure has accumulated enough yay votes to pass. 217 Democrats have voted yes, along with 2 Republicans. 201 Republicans have voted no. Evil white nationalist dentist Congressman Paul Gosar of Arizona has been formally censured and removed from his committee assignments for posting a video of him murdering AOC and Biden.
UPDATE 11/17/21 2:57 PM EST: Congress’s procedures can be kind of confusing and pointless, so the resolution has not actually been effected yet. This obnoxious “debate” period with MAGA members whatabouting anything and everything they can think of is even more tiring.
UPDATE 11/17/21 4:23 PM EST: The final vote has crossed the majority threshold and again at this point there are 218 Democrats and 2 Republicans having voted yes o HR 789 to strip Doctor Giggles of his committee assignments. May God have no mercy on his soul.
