Shocking, I know, but Fox News contributor (and guy at the bar who talks three times louder than anyone else) Dan Bongino got into a shouting match with Geraldo Rivera on Hannity’s show about the Biden Administration’s travel ban from certain African countries that have high coronavirus rates, including those with the omicron strain.
“Geraldo, I wouldn’t [put in a ban]. It’s not working,” Bongino overanimates. “Listen, have you thought about the externalities here? The travel restrictions clearly have not worked. Can we acknowledge that?”
Now flashback to an episode of the Hannity Show from last March, when Bongino defended Trump’s travel ban that Hannity was vocally supporting… in a debate with the very same Geraldo Rivera:
“In three weeks, the guy put a ban in place, got the crap kicked out of him for doing it,” Hannity declared in the March 12, 2020 episode of his propaganda show. “And guess what? The single best decision to keep Americans safe, period! You want to talk about people’s feelings across the pond!? I don’t care about their feelings! I want Americans safe!”
After Rivera pointed out that the unplanned announcement by Trump led to thousands of Americans being stranded overseas because Trump did not plan to allow any American back into the country, Bongino responded: “Geraldo, you realize you’re repeating Chinese propaganda here, I hope you understand that!”
