“I beg you, Sean, to remember the frame of mind you were in when you wrote that text on January 6th, and when Laura did, and when Brian did, and when Don Junior did.” Geraldo Rivera implores Fox News host and potential defendant in upcoming trials Sean Hannity. “Remember the concern you had. “Yeah, because I, because I wanted a riot to end!” Hannity interjects, although he claimed at the time that all the Trump supporters were “peaceful.”
“Why doesn’t he say something?–” Geraldo continues.
“He did!” Hannity says without noting that Trump said something after the attack had been going on for more than three hours. “But the point is, he did! He did!”
“What you saw unfolding before your very eyes, an attack on democracy,” Geraldo continues before an exasperated Hannity give airtime to another failed Republican.
