Costumed in a vest declaring himself “PRESS,” Project Veritas’ James O’Keefe continued to live out his life as a frustrated high school theatre kid in front of a paying audience of CPAC attendees.
O’Keefe then introduces a series of people he terms “whistleblowers” from media outlets: Cary Poarch, whom O’Keefe claims was a “CNN insider” but was, in fact, a freelancer for the network; April Moss, whom O’Keefe claims was a “CBS insider” but was just a weathergirl from the Detroit affiliate who was fired after announcing on-air that she wasn’t going to comply with the station’s mask mandate; and then a group of so-called whistleblowers.
The voice over for the program has O’Keefe saying hyperdramatically, “We may die doing what we do, or lose our livelihoods in this noble fight, but that is all that we can ask for, to die on our feet rather than live on our knees.”
