Said the Hill’s media columnist Joe Concha on Fox News on Monday of a prolific tweeter currently working in the White House: “Yeah, it’s a big PR sessions, it’s a cheerleading session. Uh, he should be focused on solutions instead of spin. And you’ve gotta see Ron Klain in terms of who he retweets – Joy Reid, who’s like the Alex Jones of cable news, a conspiracy theorist and a person that plays the race card from the bottom of the deck. He retweets Jen Rubin, the conservative at the Washington Post who can see no wrong with this administration. So, yeah Ron Klain, like many politicians – I’m talking Republican and Democrat. Less tweeting, less Twitter, more do your job and give the thumbs a rest for a little bit. You’re working for the American people.”
We have no record of Joe Concha making similar criticisms of a different White House employee who between January 20th, 2017 and January 8th, 2021 tweeted and retweeted over 25,000 times, with more than 12,000 of those coming in 2020 alone. Said employee also once retweeted twenty QAnon-linked posts in a single day. Also “played the race card” more than a few times.
