A man shot people at four different location in the Denver area, killing at least three people and wounding three before being killed himself by police in the Denver suburb of Lakewood, NBC News reports.
The shooter, who has not yet been identified by police, started his spree at two locations in Denver, where he killed three people and wounded one before getting into a gunfight with police responding to the second location. During that gunfight, he was able to disable the police car and fled to Lakewood.
When he arrived in Lakewood, he started shooting up a Hilton Hotel, wounding a clerk, before firing on responding police, wounding one. Other Lakewood officers were able to shot and kill the shooter.
