A large rock formation overlooking a Brazilian lake collapsed Saturday onto three tourist boats floating nearby, sinking all three boats, killing six people, injuring more than 30 and leaving 20 people missing, CNN reports.
The rocks apparently became unstable after heavy rains pounded the area around Furnas Lake in Capitólio, in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. Furnas Lake is a popular tourist destination, with parts of the lake bordered on each size by high mountain walls, similar but on a smaller scale to the Grand Canyon.
