Republican South Carolina Congresswoman Nancy Mace announced that she has tested positive for the coronavirus for a second time, the Associated Press reports. The Charleston Republican has said she got the first round of the vaccine but has not gotten the booster.
Mace was first infected in June 2020, prior to there being a vaccine available, and she has described her experience as a “long-haul” COVID sufferer. However, last July, she challenged House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to enforce the mask requirement on the floor of the House.
