“Pushback”, as in the common political journalism trope “legislative pushback”, is used to describe actual action, not just some assholes complaining and throwing a fit. Like “Governor Dickwad’s actions on the XYZ order saw some legislative pushback when State Senator Clowncock quickly passed a veto proof anti-XYZ bill”. One short asshole with stupid hair canceling his DirecTV plan, another Senator writing a sternly worded letter asking them to reconsider, and some stupid tweets from Chuck Grassley and Jim Jordan are not “pushback”. The Epoch Times sucks.
